While the report predicts that in the biobanking industry and market, biorepositories, biotrusts and bio-libraries will develop, their networks are expected to expand not only at the national level but also worldwide. Jeniffer Taylor, a pharmaceutical industry analyst in visiongain, said the increasing use of banked human tissues, primary cell lines and stem cells in preclinical pharmaceutical research and development would drive the market expansion.
